| So here we are - Churri finally got herself a livejournal. And just after I made a fool of myself asking everyone for an LJ code when that whole rule was abolished... You know, I had one of these back in seventh grade, when I couldn't program to save my life. (Okay, I knew a few codes, but...) I never updated, and I couldn't figure out how to customize anything. Now I think I could try to design my own layout. Just not yet. :) I still need to actually write more for that to happen. Then, a few months ago, I joined a MWPP (Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs) RPG, set when they're in their sixth year at Hogwarts. It was LJ-based, so I created a username (ladylilyevans), and set to roleplaying. It spurred my interest in livejournals, and I decided that I needed one. So now I have one. It worked out nicely. I don't really have anything to rant about today, except that I hope school is canceled tomorrow. I have an English project due that I - typically - put off until the last minute. It's nothing too bad - no six-page essays this time - but I still need to finish Possessing the Secret of Joy by Alice Walker. It's an excellent book - I highly recommend it. It's sort of a companion to The Color Purple, which I also loved. Then, I need to write a one-page summary, a thematic paragraph, and copy a key passage. Again, I've procrastinated with far worse assignments. It's a habit I really need to break. At least I stopped watching Buffy for two hours after school...well, I sort of had to, considering that I now have Macbeth rehearsals from seven to ten pm. almost every weeknight. Now I'd really better start reading again... | ||||||||
